Guangzhou Baiyun Chemical Industry Co., Ltd (former Guangzhou Baiyun Mucilage Glue Factory, hereinafter referred to as Baiyun Chemical) is mainly engaged in the R＆D, production and operation of various building sealants and high polymer new materials. Founded in 1985, Baiyun Chemical is located in Minying Science and Technology Park in Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, covering over 40,000 square meters and employing 200 people, of whom three have post doctorate, five have Docter’s degree, 18 have Master’s degree, and more than 40 have intermediate or senior title and 60% of whom have college certificates.
Baiyun Chemical is the only enterprise in the industry that has passed the British BSI Company ISO9001/ISO14001/OHSAS18001 Quality Environmental Safety and Health Management System Certification; and the only Demonstration Construction Base of the Industrialization of the Building Sealant Technology granted by the Ministry of Construction. Besides, it has been awarded the titles of Postdoctoral R&D Center, Guangdong Engineering and Technology R&D Center, Guangdong Competitive Enterprise of Technological Innovation, and Guangzhou High-tech Scientific and Technological Demonstration Enterprise by the Ministry of Personnel; and granted the honor of Base of International Science and Technology Cooperation by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The leading sealant product has been rated as China Famous Brand Product and Guangdong Famous Brand Product. In 2002, Baiyun Chemical completed China's first world level silicone sealant continuous production line with the annual production capacity of 10,000 tons. The Product Testing Center owns the advanced and complete equipment and can undertake product performance testing according to the standards in China, the United States, Europe, and Japan. T Baiyun Chemical is one of the major drafters of GB / T 14683-2003 Silicone Building Sealant, GB/T16776-2005 “Silicone Building Structure Sealant and JCT 486-2001 "Flexibility Sealing Sealant for Hollow Glass and other state and trade standards.

In 1985, the state-owned Guangzhou Baiyun Sealant Plant was established;
In 1992, it introduced silicone sealant production technology by the application of the first artificial satellite independently developed by China (the technology has been used in aviation and space) and developed and produced silicone sealant products
In 1998, it gained the first batch permit of the production of silicone structure sealant of the State Economic and Trade Commission; and the first batch state-level permit of sales of silicone structure sealant of the State Economic and Trade Commission
In 1998, SS621 was evaluated as State-Level New Products by the State Economic and Trade Commission known as the first case in the industry.
In 1998, it was identified as High-tech Enterprises in Guangzhou City and Guangdong Competitive Enterprises of Technological Innovation;
In 1999, SS621/SS622 products were rated as Key Popularization Product of Scientific and Technological Achievements by the Ministry of Construction.
In 1999, it passed the ISO9001 Quality System Certification of Chinese Building Materials Quality System Certification Center. It is one of the earliest enterprises to pass this certification among the silicone sealant manufacturers;
In 2000, Guangdong Baiyun Sealant Engineering and Technology Research and Development Center was established, the first provincial-level engineering sealant construction technology research and development center in the industry.
In 2000, it was granted Advanced Collectives from 1997 to 1999 by Guangzhou municipal government;
In 2000, SS602/SS602B was evaluated as State-Level New Product by the State Economic and Trade Commission;
From 1993 to 2001, it participated in the drafting and revision of industry and national standards of sealants and structure sealants;
